Learn how to brew like the best with the 2017 U.S. Brewers Cup Champion Dylan Siemens. Up your pour-over game and further your coffee education with this one-hour interactive lesson.


About Dylan:

I’m Dylan Siemens, Head Trainer at Onyx Coffee Lab! I’ve been with Onyx for five years now, starting out as a barista at the first café, and moved into training a year and a half later! Since then, I’ve gone through Level 2 and Instructor Barista Certification, competed in a couple of CoffeeFest, Coffee Master’s, US Latte Art, and US Brewers Cup Competitions. I’m the current US Brewers Cup champion, which is a huge honor. I live in Springdale, AR and spend my time brewing coffee, eating tacos, and hanging out with friends and family.

Brewing Basics

Dylan will take you through brewing basics like coffee-to-water ratio, grind sizes, extraction, and techniques. Sit back and watch the best brew!

15-35:

First Brew

The class will go step-by-step through their first brew with Fellow's Stagg [X] Dripper and Stagg EKG Electric Pour-Over Kettle.

35-60:

Pour It Up

We'll spend the rest of the class perfecting your new brew skills, or if this isn't your first pour-over rodeo, digging into Dylan's techniques. Always wondering why Dylan does [INSERT YOUR QUESTION HERE] while brewing? Now is your time to ask and test it out for yourself! We'll have a wide variety of featured coffees from Onyx Coffee Lab on hand to brew and taste.
